From Atlanta [Click the image and go to the map]
Atlanta to Pine Creek Cabins

  • From Atlanta take I-75 north toward Chattanooga.

  • Exit I-75 at Woodstock, GA, take I-575 north.

  • Heading north I-575 turns into GA-515, continue for about 70 miles.

  • Just past Blue Ridge, GA look for GA-60. At the traffic light turn left.

  • Take GA-60, 1.8 miles to GA-60-SPUR, turn right. GA-60-SPUR turns into NC-60.

  • About 12 miles NC-60 ends at US-64/US-74, turn right.

  • Go 1 mile to the light, at the traffic light turn right toward Blairsville GA

  • Take US-19/US129 south 1.25 miles. On the right you will see a large white sign for Pine Creek Cabins and Kelly Hopkins Realty.

  • Turn right on Taylor Henson Road and take an immeadite left at the first drive.

  • The office is to the left on top of the hill, cabin #1

Chattanooga to Pine Creek Cabins

  • From Chattanooga take I-75 north toward Knoxville.

  • Exit I-75 at Cleveland TN, take US-64 Bypass east toward Ocoee/Murphy.

  • Heading east get on US-64/US-74 for about 50 miles. Take US-64/US-74 (4-lanes) to the Ocoee Gourge (2-lanes), and into North Carolina (4-lane).

  • Stay on the 4-lane 17 miles into NC. At the traffic light turn right toward Blairsville GA

  • Take US-19/US129 south 1.25 miles. On the right you will see a large white sign for Pine Creek Cabins and Kelly Hopkins Realty.

  • Turn right on Taylor Henson Road and take an immeadite left at the first drive.

  • The office is to the left on top of the hill, cabin #1

Knoxville to Pine Creek Cabins

  • From Knoxville take I-75 south toward Chattanooga.

There are other shorter routes from Knoxville but some of these roads are slow and have many tight turns. I have found the round about way to Cleveland TN is worth the few extra miles.

Asheville to Pine Creek Cabins

  • From Asheville take I-40 west toward Canton/Knoxville.

  • Exit I-40 at Clyde NC, take US-19/US-74 west toward Waynesville/Murphy.

  • Go West for about 90 miles, across the Great Smoky Mountain Expressway (4-lanes), through the Nantahala Gourge (2-lanes), passing the Andrews valley and finally Murphy (4-lane).

  • Stay on the 4-lane 4 miles past of Murphy. At the traffic light turn left toward Blairsville GA

  • Take US-19/US129 south 1.25 miles. On the right you will see a large white sign for Pine Creek Cabins and Kelly Hopkins Realty.

  • Turn right on Taylor Henson Road and take an immeadite left at the first drive.
